The idea of Pan-Africanism in bringing the united and powerful Africa has been thought 60 years before and gave birth to the Organization of the African Unity, the current African Union by 32 African leaders. Africa Day Initiative, as a Non-Government Organization, has been initiated in promoting the vision of the founding fathers of Africa.
With this in mind, after many ups and downs to become the legal institution registered by the Government, the groundwork has been finalized and Africa Day Initiative has officially become a civil organization which was certified and registered on September 28, 2022.
Currently, Africa Day Initiative is organized and led by seven board members and one executive director.
